I'm a photographer currently based in Raleigh, North Carolina. I was recently named runner up for 2016 North Carolina Photographer of the Year from the North Carolina Press Photographers Association.
I've spent my life pursuing photography and it has taken me to some fascinating places. Before moving to North Carolina, I worked at the Palm Beach Post in South Florida. I completed my master's degree in Visual Communication at Ohio University - where I did my thesis project on the Dagara people of Burkina Faso in western Africa. Before all that was art school and I received my BFA in photography from the Maryland Institute College of Art before moving to New York City to work for Magnum photographer Steve McCurry as a studio manager and photography assistant.
Currently I'm available for assignments throughout the state and beyond so please don't hesitate to be in touch.
